representativeFrequency

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Get the representative frequency from an ALMA ASDM. It also displays the min/max acceptable angular resolutions. See also representativeFrequency to read it from a measurement set.

Usage:

au.representativeFrequencyFromASDM(asdm, verbose=True)

Inputs:

• asdm: name of ASDM
• verbose: if True, then also print the min/max acceptable angular resolutions

Returns:

• Returns the value in GHz.
