propagateMaskToAllChannels

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Takes a spectral mask array, and propagates every masked spatial pixel to all spectral channels of the array. See also flattenMask, which works on a cube image rather than a cube array variable. See also maskChannel.

Usage:

au.propagateMaskToAllChannels(mask, axis=3)

Inputs:

• mask: an N-dimensional array, where N>2
• axis: the spectral axis of the input array

Returns:

• a 2D array
