AAS Special ALMA Session Abstract Deadline 10 October

The ASAC meeting will be held October 18-19, 2018 in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. The meeting will be held at NRAO Headquarters, which encompasses the
NAASC. The University of Virginia has chosen to inaugurate its new President those days so Charlottesville will be crowded so please make reservations early.

Transportation from Airport: Please use a taxi, which are readily available at the Charlottesville Airport, to the Hyatt Place Charlottesville (2100 Bond St, Charlottesville, VA 22901)
Hotel: Hyatt Place Charlottesville, Rooms are currently held from Wednesday, October 17 to Saturday, October 20. Please email Katelyn Sevin (
ksevin@nrao.edu) by Friday, September 21 if you need to check in or out on a different date, or if you will not be needing this reservation. Each participant will pay for their hotel stay individually upon arrival.
Directions/ Transport to Meetings: The Hyatt Place Shuttle will leave the hotel lobby at 8:15am on Thursday and Friday mornings to bring guests to NRAO.
Meals: We will offer a light continental style breakfast and a full lunch on Thursday & Friday at NRAO. Please email (

All ASAC members are invited to dinner at Burtons Grill on Thursday at 6:30pm in Stonefield Plaza (just down the street from the Hyatt Place).
