numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalXML

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Reports the number of polarizations in the SysCal.xml file of the specified ASDM. See also numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalTable for the equivalent function for a measurement set.

Usage: 

au.numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalXML(asdm)

Example: 

CASA <39>: au.numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalXML('uid___A002_X5f231a_Xfb0')
  Found  72  Tsys rows in SysCal.xml (median # chans = 128)
  Out[39]: 2
