numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalTable

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Reports the number of polarizations in the SYSCAL table of the specified measurement set. See also numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalXML for the equivalent function for an ASDM.

Usage: 

au.numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalTable(vis)

Example: 

CASA <42>: au.numberOfPolarizationsInSyscalTable('uid___A002_X5f231a_Xfb0.ms')
  Out[42]: 2
