modifyIntents

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

This function replaces all appearances of a string in the OBS_MODE column of the STATE table with a different string. For a more involved function, see also editIntents.

Usage: 

au.modifyIntents(vis='', oldintent='', newintent='')

Example: 

CASA <02>: au.modifyIntents(vis='uid___A002_X383b50_Xc45.ms', oldintent='CALIBRATE_AMPLITUDE#ON_SOURCE', newintent='CALIBRATE_FLUX#ON_SOURCE')
