Usage for mjdsecToUTHMS

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Converts Modified Julian Date (MJD) in seconds into a UT string of format "HH:MM:SS". See also mjdsecToUTHM, lstToUT, mjdToUT, and mjdSecondsToMJDandUT.

Usage 

au.mjdsecToUTHMS(mjdsec, prec=6)
  • prec: change to 7 to show tenths of seconds, etc.

Example 

CASA <19>: au.mjdsecToUTHMS(4858815658.656)
  Out[19]: '07:00:59'
