Usage for mjdsecToUT

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Converts Modified Julian Date (MJD) in seconds into a UT and calendar day string. See also lstToUT, mjdToUT, and mjdSecondsToMJDandUT.

Usage 

au.mjdsecToUT(mjdsec, prec=6)
  • prec: change to 7 to show tenths of seconds, etc.

Example 

CASA <19>: au.mjdsecToUT(4858815658.656)
  Out[19]: '2012-11-05 07:00:59 UT'
