NAASC Presence at Meetings & What's on this page

This is a page to note upcoming meetings that may be of interest to the NA ALMA community and record planned attendance by NAASC staff. If you are going to an ALMA-related meeting please edit the page or email aleroy to update it. If you see a meeting of potential interest, likewise email or update this page. Feel encouraged to add a short note regarding relevance, key dates, etc.

The idea is that travel to these conferences with the idea of promoting ALMA and offering support to our users may be counted as functional travel. Ideally, you can present a talk or poster that highlights the capabilities of ALMA & the NAASC while focusing on your own science. If giving a talk and poster space is not an issue, a poster advertising ALMA Early Science can be found here: https://safe.nrao.edu/wiki/pub/ALMA/UserSupportGroup/ALMA_ES_poster.pptx and easily printed given a few days heads up (email aleroy or Pat Smiley directly, and check if we have leftovers from previous conferences). Please bear in mind that for European conferences, we should take care to present things in a pan-ALMA way so as to not to step on the toes of our colleagues.
