Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Measures the ratio of the peak to standard deviation of a CASA image. See also imageSnrs.

Usage:

au.imageSnr(img, blc=None, trc=None, applymask=False)
Inputs:
  • img: CASA image
  • blc: integer tuple for the bottom left corner of the rectangle in which to measure the rms
  • trc: integer tubple for the top right corner of the rectangle in which to measure the rms
  • applymask: if True, then don't consider the values of masked pixels

Example:

CASA <3>: au.imageSnr('Juno0.ms.cal.R1.image')
  Out[3]: 30.152874766835232
