imageSmooth

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Runs the CASA task imsmooth on a list of images.

Usage: 

au.imageSmooth(images, major, minor='', pa='', targetres=True, overwrite=True)
Inputs:
  • images: a list of images, a comma-delimited string, or a single string with a wildcard character
  • major: e.g. '5arcsec'
  • minor: e.g. '4arcsec'
  • pa: e.g. '20deg'
  • targetres: Boolean

Example: 

CASA <5>: au.imageSmooth('Juno*.apcal_R1.image', '0.055arcsec')
CASA <6>:
