getMeasurementSetFromCaltable

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Returns the name of the parent measurement set from a caltable.

Usage: 

au.getMeasurementSetFromCaltable(caltable)

Example: 

CASA <10>: au.getMeasurementSetFromCaltable('uid___A002_Xaa2cd9_Xd6f.ms.tsys')
  Out[10]: 'uid___A002_Xaa2cd9_Xd6f.ms'
