getMeanWeights

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Gets the mean value of the weight of a measurement set.

Usage: 

au.getMeanWeights(vis, spw='')
Inputs:
  • vis: name of measurement set
  • spw = integer or string or a list of spws to process

Example: 

CASA <8>: au.getMeanWeights('uid___A002_X8f2f97_X1c1.ms.split')
Found 4 DataDescription IDs
Will process spws =  [0, 1, 2, 3]
  Out[8]: 0.0070254236535903531
