gaussianBeamOffset

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Computes the radius at which the response of a Gaussian beam drops to the specified level. For the inverse function, see gaussianBeamResponse.

Usage:

au.gaussianBeamOffset(response=0.5, fwhm=1.0)

Example:

CASA <2>: au.gaussianBeamOffset(0.5, 30)
  Out[2]: 15.000127686200203
