flattenMask

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Takes a multi-channel CASA image mask and propagates all pixels to a new single plane image mask using imcollapse. See also maskChannel.

Usage:

au.flattenMask(mask, outfile='', overwrite=True)
Inputs:
  • mask: a CASA image mask
  • outfile: default name = .flattened

Example:

CASA <5>: au.flattenMask('calibrated_NGC_1068.ms_spw2_imagesub.tclean.mask')
