findNearestField

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Finds the field in a list that is nearest to the specified average position. See also findNearestFieldInVis.

Usage: 

au.findNearestField(ra, dec, raAverageDegrees, decAverageDegrees)
Inputs:
  • ra and dec must be equal-sized lists, and in degrees
  • raAverageDegrees and decAverageDegrees must be scaler valuas

Example:
