Usage of editFieldname

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Changes a field name in a measurement set (in 2 tables: SOURCE and FIELD). See also editIntents and editFieldnameASDM.

Usage: 

au.editFieldname(asdm, field, newname):

Example: 

CASA <3>: au.editFieldname('Juno0.ms.cal','Ephemeris','Juno')
Changed 1 rows in FIELD table.
Changed 4 rows in SOURCE table.
