computeClockTimeOfMS

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Computes delta time (in minutes) from the beginning of the first scan to the end of the last scan in a dataset, either from the measurement set itself, or from its a ValueMapping structure. The ValueMapping method assumes that the times and scans are in ascending order.

Usage:

au.computeClockTimeOfMS(vis=None, vm=None)

Example:

CASA <8>: au.computeClockTimeOfMS(vis='uid___A002_X6e23cb_X1628.ms')
  Out[8]: 46.944000021616617
