ALMA North American Science Advisory Committee

As ALMA focuses more on science operations following the completion of the construction project, the ALMA North American Science Advisory Committee (ANASAC) has been integrated as a standing subcommittee of the NRAO Users Committee (UC). The UC advises NRAO on science operations and other issues of importance to users of our major research facilities (ALMA, GBT, VLA, VLBA). 2021 Users Committee Membership Listing The ANASAC subcommittee of the UC will include members: the North American (NA) ASAC members plus a Taiwan representative (The NA ASAC membership includes at least one Canadian representative). The ANASAC will hold an annual face-to-face (f2f) meeting in conjunction with the UC annual meeting, and will generate a report. Other ALMA-interested members of the UC are welcome to attend and participate in the ANASAC subcommittee f2f meeting. The ANASAC subcommittee would hold a telecon once every 2 months.Current ANASAC Members
