almaCycles

Return to directory of Todd's CASA extensions

Converts date string to ALMA cycle. See also surmiseCycle and surmiseConfiguration.

Usage: 

au.almaCycles(yyyymmdd)
Inputs:
  • yyyymmdd: either 'yyyy-mm-dd' or 'yyyymmdd'

Example: 

CASA <2>: au.almaCycles('20131210')
  Out[2]: 1
CASA <5>: au.almaCycles('2015-03-10')
  Out[5]: 2
