Getting to Charlottesville
Information about travel options into and out of Charlottesville can be found
here.
Please note that the Residence Inn does not have a shuttle service; you'll need to take a taxi from the airport.
Taxis are often waiting to meet flights. Alternatively, you can call Cville Taxi (434-295-4131 Email: <info@cvilletaxi.com>), or one of the other services listed inside the terminal.
Location, Directions, and Maps
The
Charlottesville Downtown Mall is a popular place - especially if the weather is nice.

All about Eating in Charlottesville
To ask for reimbursement for your travel expenses, please use this
Travel Expense Voucher. It can be signed electronically and emailed to Lyndele with scanned copies of your receipts. Please do follow by sending original receipts (airline tickets/boarding passes/rental car receipts) via mail. If you need to keep the originals for some reason, just make a note on the TEV. We use the
GSA's per diem rates. Your typical per diem should look something like this:
- The first day of your travel (coming to Charlottesville) will be 75% of $56 ($42)
- Full days of meetings: dinner per diem only: $23/night
- Weekends: $42/day
- Last day of travel (going home): You may charge 75% of your 'home city's' per diem rate. For example, if your home city is Manchester, UK, you may charge $90 (75% of the per diem rate for Manchester - $120).
As always, just let Lyndele know if you need any assistance with the form.
