  1. NAASC
    • The ANASAC f2f meeting occurs on 17 May.
    • The ALMA Cycle 4 deadline was on 21 April. Please relate your experiences
    • 380 ALMA papers at this point; 19 new ALMA papers (9 from NA).
    • Gerald relates a communication from Dennis Crabtree: “the first time I’ve included ALMA (there are ALMA papers for 2012, 2013, 2014). ALMA has the highest average impact per paper of any telescope in my database, including Keck which is the usual “winner”’ See Crabtree, D.~R.\ 2014, \procspie, 9149, 91490A for a previous analysis.
    • Transitions
      • Carol Lonsdale will retire from the NAASC next month.
  2. ALMA Development
    • Approved Principles for the ALMA Development Program (please see attachment).
    • Development update.
      • ALMA Development Studies 2016 (Cycle 3) are announced, awarded and under way. Science cases for these are available, as well as one-slide summaries (see Cycle 4 Call Informational Presentation).
      • There was a Call for ALMA Development Studies on March 1. The deadline is 2 May. We received 17 Notices of Intent to submit studies.
  3. Molecular Gas in Galactic Environments, a NAASC Workshop
    • This was successfully held, with just over one hundred participants. There are abstract books for talks and for posters. Presentations are on line. Twitter summaries are at #xgal2016
  4. 2016 ALMA Science Meeting
    • This is open for abstract submission and preregistration; speakers have been invited.
