    1. Construction Status
      • Science section of May Report, from R. Hills.
      • 62 antennas at the ALMA site (25 NA, 16 EA, 21 EU)
      • 42 antennas accepted (21 NA, 13 EA, 8 EU) – 39 through AIV
      • 33 antennas at the AOS (17 NA, 9 EA, 7 EU)
      • AOS Roads: All 67km completed
      • 50 Front Ends delivered.
      • Correlator Quadrant 4 arrived at the AOS on May 25. to be installed and ready in September
    2. Operations
      • Early Science Progress
        • As of AAS, 93 datasets delivered to PIs overall; 12 American PIs have delivered data. 169 (43% of 400) nominally done (still need to pass QA2); 103 (26%) passed QA2
        • List of highest ranked projects
        • Project Tracker thought to be ready for deployment by ~end of June. Becomes visible for PI's (and coIs?) of ALMA projects & lists status of all SBs submitted to the archive: Phase2 Subitted; Ready; Wait; Fully observed (=ready for QA2); Verified (passed QA2).
        • What information on ALMA do you feel you are not getting? Please give us a top five and we'll fashion a FAQ. ( Action Item )
        • ARC-based data reduction started in early April.
      • Cycle 1 Lookahead
        • More than 750 "Notice of Intents" were received. From this, JAO predicts > 1200 proposals. For ARP membership, will plan on something higher (like 1500 or more)
        • Cycle1 documents out : Call for Proposals; Proposers Guide/Capabilities; Early Science Primer; Technical Handbook; Guide to ARCs
        • Call distributed 31 May 2012. Deadline expected to be 12 July 2012.
        • Observations expected to start after completion of Cycle 0 (Jan 2013)
