Agenda

Topics

  1. Old Business
  2. New Business under Discussion.

Discussion Items

  1. NAASC
    • Prioritization of band receiver upgrades following the Roadmap for Developing ALMA, including potential science cases by band.
      • Original (Sep 2000) ASAC prioritization of receiver bands.
      • ALMA Receiver band sensitivities.
        • Information was developed on the sensitivity of the bands. The point was to compare the OT and TH with the engineering data and observational data for the receivers. Neil Phillips collected the accumulated ALMA observations (millions of them) and sorted them by band and frequency.
    • Charges to ASAC Mar 2017 are attached.
      • Please read and prepare to assemble an ANASAC view of the ASAC Charges (attached). EASAC and EuSAC have done this for the upcoming 8 March ASAC telecon.
        • NA Development Presentation attached here.
      • Suggestions for materials to be developed?
        • Link to EDM for access to previous ASAC presentations.
      • See new correlator document, attached to Jan Agenda
