• The 64 antenna Y+ configuration was approved by the CCB 2005 March 3.
• Notes from configuration redesign telecon.
• Notes from an expedition to investigate a quebrada currently masked off but which may be suitable for antenna placement in its northern part. Nyman and Rivera confirm this.

• Angel noted that a Weather predictionpage can be useful for Chajnantor.

Science Corner:

From the SMA Calendar: The extraordinarily good weather, at least on some nights, continued last week. On a night when the 225 GHz opacity was 0.03 (MAR 1), the 183 GHz water maser line was observed toward the active galactic nucleus in NGC3079 and tentatively detected (zenith opacity of about 0.8). The continuum emission in the upper sideband at 193 GHz (zenith opacity of about 0.05) was clearly detected (see Test Log Entry 8949; and rumors).
